A meaningful moment on September 1, 2026 at EQ Kuala Lumpur, during the JAMECA–MAJECA Joint Conference, as Mr Matsuoka Tetsuya, Co Chair of East Asia Business Council (EABC) presented a plaque to Tan Sri Azman Hashim, Former Chairman of EABC Malaysia Chapter@ Chairman Emeritus & Honorary Adviser of AmBank Group, as a token of appreciation for his longstanding service, dedication and valuable contribution to the East Asia Business Council (EABC).
Recognised as the “Father of EABC” since 2004, Tan Sri Azman has played a pivotal role in the development of EABC and in strengthening business and economic ties across the region.
The plaque presentation was witnessed by Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr) Soh Thian Lai, EABC Malaysia Chairman, marking a special occasion to honour Tan Sri Azman’s enduring leadership, commitment and invaluable contribution to the EABC family.
